Polly was born and raised in Los Angeles. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in English Literature. Her studies included a semester in London working for the producers of Harry Potter. Polly has a long history with Jersey Films, working as a PA on Matilda and Man on the Moon, and story editor from 2002 to mid-2003. Most recently, Polly worked in concert promotion for Bill Graham Presents and Avalon Attractions. Her favorite filmmakers are Wong Kar Wai, Tim Burton, Danny DeVito and Jonathan Demme. Other influences include James Joyce, Robert Smith, and Dr. Seuss.
